Aftermarket Headlights
Forward Lighting · DOT CompliantAftermarket Replacement Part

Headlight assemblies that place light where the vehicle's engineers put it.

Bulb type, projector optic, DRL signature, adjuster geometry — a headlight is five parts pretending to be one. Our catalog stocks by all of them so beam pattern and DRL behavior stay factory.

Product Overview

How we spec headlight assemblies

Modern headlights carry projectors, reflectors, LED signature strips, and level-adjust motors that all have to be correct for the vehicle. We stock by bulb technology, DRL type, and auto-leveling presence — because a mismatched assembly throws codes before it throws light.

Applications

Where new headlights get installed

Front-end collision damage

The headlight is almost always in the impact path when the fender takes a hit.

Hazed lens restoration replacement

When the polycarbonate lens has clouded past polishing, replacement restores light output.

Technology upgrade

Owner steps from halogen to LED projector for a modern beam pattern.

Signs of Damage

When a headlight is finished

Bulbs don't fix everything:

  • Cracked housing letting moisture cycle inside
  • Fogged interior lens surface that clears and returns overnight
  • Broken mounting tabs preventing alignment
  • DRL signature strip dark in patches
Common Replacement Reasons

Why headlights come off

  1. 1Collision damage in the corner impact zone
  2. 2UV degradation of the outer lens
  3. 3Moisture intrusion behind failed seals
  4. 4Trim upgrade to LED or projector variant
Materials

Headlight construction

Polycarbonate lens

Hard-coated for UV and impact resistance.

Chrome-vapor reflector

Aluminum reflector for beam shaping in halogen units.

Projector optic

Glass lens with cutoff shield for LED and HID variants.

Vehicle Compatibility

Vehicle coverage

Headlights are packaged by side, technology, and options (auto-level, adaptive, projector). We recommend confirming the VIN before dispatch — trim differences here decide beam pattern and computer expectations.

Buying Guide

Spec'ing a headlight assembly

Step 1

Match bulb technology to the original

Halogen wiring cannot support HID igniters. Get the technology right at the assembly, not the bulb.

Step 2

Confirm DRL type

LED strips, halo rings, and reflector-based DRLs all look 'similar' but are wired differently.

Step 3

Ask about auto-leveling motors

European vehicles often ship with auto-leveling motors that must be present in the replacement.

FAQ

Headlight FAQs the counter answers daily

Are your LED assemblies DOT-compliant?
Yes. Every LED assembly we stock is manufactured to DOT compliance for on-road use.
Do assemblies include bulbs?
For most halogen units, yes. LED and HID assemblies are self-contained and don't require separate bulb sourcing.
Can I upgrade from halogen to LED?
In some vehicles the wiring supports a direct swap; in others a harness adapter is needed. Ask the counter for your specific application.
Ready When You Are

Aim the beam where the engineers aimed it. First install.

Call with a VIN and preferred technology. We'll route the correct-side assembly with the right optic and adjusters.
