Windshields specified for the ADAS suite behind the mirror.
The modern windshield is a mounting bracket for a camera. We stock glass with the correct frit, bracket geometry, acoustic interlayer, and heated wiper park zones so recalibration is the only step left.

Windshield fitment done properly
Getting a windshield 'close' is not the same as getting one right. Our catalog is organized by ADAS camera compatibility, humidity/rain sensor gel-pad location, acoustic laminate presence, and heating grid layout — the specifics that decide whether calibration passes on the first try.
When a full windshield swap is the right call
Stone-chip cracks past repair length
Anything past six inches, or in the driver's primary sight line, is a replace.
Rock-punch structural damage
Punctures through the outer layer compromise the whole laminate — no urethane will bond that back.
Leaks after prior installs
A wet A-pillar or headliner means the perimeter seal is compromised and needs a fresh set.
How to tell when a windshield has to go
Repair is cheaper. But some damage is a replace:
- Any crack longer than a dollar bill
- Damage in the driver's primary vision zone
- Delamination — cloudy or bubbled area between the layers
- Water intrusion at the A-pillar, headliner, or dash sail panels
Why windshields come off the vehicle
- 1Highway debris impact and stone chips
- 2Extreme cold-shock cracking on defrost start
- 3Prior improper install producing wind noise or leaks
- 4ADAS camera swap requiring bracket-matched glass
The glass sandwich
Laminated safety glass
Two annealed glass layers bonded to a PVB interlayer to hold together on impact.
Acoustic PVB interlayer
Sound-damping polymer that reduces cabin noise on freeway speeds.
Ceramic frit border
Baked-on black border that protects the urethane bond from UV degradation.
How to spec the correct glass the first time
Always start with the VIN
Windshield SKUs branch on option codes that the trim badge doesn't reveal — VIN removes the ambiguity.
Plan for ADAS recalibration
Any glass replacement on a camera-equipped vehicle needs a static or dynamic recalibration. Schedule it in advance.
Confirm the moulding kit
Some vehicles reuse the original moulding, others need a fresh clip pack. Ask before install day.
Windshield conversations we have often
- Do your windshields include the ADAS bracket?
- Where the vehicle came equipped with a camera, yes — the bracket is bonded at the manufacturer to OE geometry.
- Are acoustic-laminate options available on non-luxury vehicles?
- Selectively. Many mainstream trims received acoustic glass from the factory; we list the acoustic variant separately where offered.
- Can you deliver windshields to a mobile install crew?
- Yes. Our route fleet handles glass with rated racks, and we coordinate drop-off directly to the installer's staging point.
Parts that often ship together.
Book the glass, book the calibration.
Give us the VIN and we'll confirm ADAS bracket, sensor prep, and mouldings before the job hits your bay.
